If you want to add yews to a server, you must have the Manage Server permission there.

Getting Started

Commands

Yews bot uses slash commands, type / to see all commands

Now we need to connect our desired accounts to Yews. We offer support for the following services:

Connecting Last.fm

Connecting a Last.fm account is simple, use the command below to link an account. Once an account is linked Yews will locally store some Last.fm data (top tracks, top artists, top albums)

/set (username)

Don't have a Last.fm account?

  1. Go to the Last.fm Signup page and create an account, be sure to remember your username

  2. After account is created, go to the application page and link your Spotify account

  3. Once Spotify is connected, link your Last.fm account with /set (username)

  4. Thats it! you can now use Last.fm commands!

Remove your account at anytime! /delete

Connecting Discogs

Please run the command provided and follow the steps to link your Discogs account.

/discogs connect

  1. Open link in embed response and login

  2. Copy the code on Discogs website

  3. Back in Discord click the "Submit Code" button in the embed

  4. Paste the code (from step 2) into the box

Discogs Commands

To remove your Discogs account, run /discogs remove

Connecting Spotify

Connecting a Spotify account is similar to connecting a Discogs account

/spotify connect

  1. Open link in embed response and login

  2. Copy the code on redirected website

  3. Back in Discord click the "Submit Code" button in the embed

  4. Paste the code (from step 2) into the box

To remove your Spotify account, run /spotify remove

Disabling Module/Commands

Yews provides a range of server customization options, allowing users to tailor their servers to their specific needs and preferences. To disable a command or module:

/settings disable command
/settings disable module

Blocking Users/Channels

Allowing server moderators block users or channels can help eliminate any unwanted spam, trolling, and run an overall cleaner community

Block a user:

Last.fm Moderation

Yews has Last.fm moderation commands! (of course) These features were added to furthermore help community moderators to keep clean and positive servers

Last.fm Moderation Features

  • Blacklist users from using Last.fm commands in your server

  • Hide users from Last.fm lists (whoknows, crowns, ect)
